8 month old pains

Not even 24 hours after his first hair cut he's bumped his head and left a huge mark on his forehead... no hair to cover that bad boy.

Poor kid is teething something fierce too.

I feel bad that I can't do more to help his pain. We're reading lots of stories. I think the cuddles help.

Oh gotta run, he's up!

So it's been a while...

but I'm going to try and be better at this. 

Mister L is getting bigger. 

Crawling, eating solids, sleeping longer at night and for naps, taking swimming lessons, pulling himself up, trying to copy sounds we make. 

A friend visited with her 4month old and it made me realize how far he really has come. How quickly I forgot the needing to be constantly held, the rocking to sleep, the never leaving him for more then 2 hours because he'll need to eat and won't take a bottle. 

I wouldn't trade any moments of his life but I'm thankful to be where we are now and all I could say to my friend was "it does get better, Promise!"
